[Sonic vs Shadow Part .5]

It's a good start...

... but's there's PLENTY of room for improvement.

First of all, the audio is laggy, repetitive, and low quality. Might I suggest using better audio resources or cleaning it up yourself. Secondly, the animation itself is great, but too many times the transitions get a bit choppy. Add in some more frames to make it more fluid, and you'll do fine. Third, when the get into those "mini-fights" (the ones when they're in each others' faces) they use the same moves over and over, which detracts some of the essence from that brawling-experience that we love ever-so much...

Besides those slip-ups, you're doing okay so far.

Awesome job, but some of the matches were a bit ridculously one-sided in Ness' favor (ahem- Hamtaro), but the effects were good an all. It sort of got repetitive, 'till the end of course. :)

I hope what I say helps...

Listen, the idea was good. The delivery, however, was not so good. What I mean is that it was a great thought to make a SSBM flash collab, but no one really tried hard enough... The sprites were lazily positioned and the quality was lacking. You might want to incorporate more intense fight scenes with special effects and such. Also, there were many points without sound.

But after all of that, I'm just glad that at least in this collab there weren't any cock-jokes. Seriously, it gets annoying...

ANYWAAAY... I hope that what I just said helps you and your fellow collaborators in some way. You can improve, I know it!

Animation- Nicely put together, although sprites were used instead of drawings...
Sound- Nicely Synched and perfectly suited for each occasion!
Originality- Not so much with the characters, but it was full of funny jokes that NO ONE else would think of!

"A lot more action than last time."

This flash was awesome, it's just that it was a bit shorter than the last one and that bothered me. Anyway, it was a great video.

[Sonic Star Wars trailer]

Well SonicMcBob, I personally think that this series will be very successful, just make sure that you don't forget Super Smash Crash. I want to see this too, HONEST, but you should work at a steady pace with both of these series, so that way you still finish SSC instead of leaving it behind while working on Sonic Star Wars. Either way, I believe that you will find some way to settle it.

Now, on to the review. I think that the sprites were all nicely put together and that the music went well with the mood and situation of a Sonic and Star Wars cross-over. The video synching was a nice touch and the way you had made Sonic seem to waver from the light side and the dark showed a lot of suspense, which is a key element to a great story. On the con-side, the opening was a little slow, but that's not enough to drag down your score.

To conclude, this video gets a perfect 10!

Well, you've improved. VASTLY. The sprite choreography is amazing, the sound effects are right where they need to be, and IT LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE ACTUALLY SOME PEOPLE PLAYING SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL! A Perfect 10 is the score that you get from me!

...You will be able to have a 9+ score.

Keep workig on the sprite arrangement and synchronizeing it with the sound effects, afterwards you'll be a pro in no time at all!

However, in the introduction of Sonic's story, it seemed a little like a SMBZ rip-off, but the video changed to a story on how Super Smash Bros Brawl truly began.

All in all, this was a really good and nicely-lengthed video, I hope that you get better with sprites soon!
